Meredith Grey is the daughter of legendary surgeon Ellis Grey and an Intern (and eventual attending) at Seattle Grace Hospital. Grey’s Anatomy chronicles the struggle of balancing Meredith’s career, love-life and general happiness, while she cares for her alzheimer's-stricken mother.
